Can you change the areas of the trackpad?

Ever since I got my Macbook Pro back from repair, I find that the area I used to double click (the one I use most often) is very small on this huge touchpad. Is there any way to reassign the lower left-hand corner to a larger area for these moves/clicks?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 13.0

The track pad does not have any specific areas defined.

Specific actions are triggered by specific gestures anywhere on the trackpad surface. You should be able to click on any place on the trackpad to initiate a double click.

Double clicking normally just selects text in a text box in a from.

If you use the "right" click or control+click or 2 finger click you get the context menu which normally includes things like Look up, Translate, cut, copy, paste etc...

There's generally no delete option.

You can change how you get this menu in System Settings ➜ Trackpad ➜ Secondary Click. It can be set to a bottom corner of the Trackpad (left or right) or to a two finger click instead of a corner. You can also as mentioned bring it up with control+click regardless of that setting.

Maybe I didn't explain it correctly. If I use one finger to move the cursor to a specific area, for example, in an online form I am filling out that I need to correct, I often times get a popup that offers options to go back, pin tab, print, or other random commands rather than delete the contents of the box. I MUST click the lower left-hand corner of the trackpad in order to finally get the command I want.
