airdrop transferred files are not appearing on the imac

Can someone help me to get my airdrop transfers to automatically pop up on my screen. Also, they are being directly sent to my dropbox. How can I change this?

Quick a. easy file transfer between M1 Mac and Intel Mac? Airdrop does not work between my Mac Studio M1 MAX and my iMac 10,1! It was never a problem between 2 Intel Macs! I see that others have the same problem, plus other transfer versions. I need a simple, fast file transfer for my profession that works! Thank you for your time and patience.

AirDrop I can see different devices in the AirDrop of my MacBook Pro and sent different files. However, it cannot receive any files. Please advise.

Check your downloads folder on Mac.

also check storage on Mac. If you do not have sufficient storage files will not come to Mac.
