Iphone 6s compatability

I am looking at buying Apple watch SE 2nd Gen but will my trusty Iphone 6s be compatable with it.

If you mean this --> Apple Watch SE (2nd generation) - Technical Specifications

then:

"Apple Watch Ultra, Apple Watch Series 8, and Apple Watch SE require an iPhone 8 or later with iOS 16 or later."
