iPad Air 5th generation (2022) crunched

Dear Community,

Today I got a brand new iPad Air (5th Gen) in Space Gray. I noticed that when I hold the iPad crosswise, if I come with my fingers in the middle (near the logo), some places (1-2 places) can be very easily pressed in and make a very gentle click... or it feels as if it would click.

Is this normal (ev simply thinner aluminum) or should I send it back? In itself, it does not really bother me but wanted to ask.

No, the click / crackle is not really strong for me. I weigh it also not really before sending back, because I've already read countless reports that it occurred with almost 90% of the people also with the new. Since I'm anything but an isolated case, I think it's not worth the fuss... the iPad itself is not damaged... at least I think so?
