MacBook Air in boot loop after battery depleted

Hi, my macbook air ran out of charge over night. I have put it on charge (currently for 4 hours) but it won’t turn on. It keeps restarting with the restarting swooshing noise and sometimes an apple symbol in the middle but seems to be stuck in a cycle of restarting and turning off. I’ve only had it a couple of days and don’t know what to do??! :(

If you bought this MacBook Air new, you should hustle it over to your nearest Apple Store and have them take a look at it. Something isn't right.

You have a 14-day window to return any new Mac for refund or exchange, no questions asked.
