[ iPhone Mail ] Subject line under mail list

Hi all

Under the mail list of iPhone Mail App of my friend father, appeared a line showing a subject of one email.

Sliding it up, down, left or right doesn't have effect.

Pressing with more force also doesn't show any options

Here is a print screen of what's happening.

I did find and read a related post, and deleted and reloaded all my email accounts as suggested. But that did not solve the problem. Tired of looking at it everytime I open mail. Apple Mail app reading pane layout Hi i have an iPad 11 iOS 26.2.1. my husband is finding the layout of the Apple Mail app a bit frustrating On previous IOS versions there were 3 panes, the first pane listed all his email accts, the middle pane his list of emails in his inbox and the third pane the actual message, when you pressed on a message in the middle pane the first pane disappeared which was great as it made the actual message larger Now it doesn’t disappear and I have to press the small square at the top left hand corner to collapse it. Any ideas how to revert back to original ??

Mini duplicates of my iPad emails at bottom of page This is fairly new and VERY annoying. OFTEN I am in the middle of composing an email and suddenly the whole thing slips down to the bottom of the page where I can neither see it or retrieve it. Then sometimes a whole bunch of these mini pages appear randomly at the bottom. Or when I send a new version the incomplete version will be sent as well.
