How do I get Apple TV to unlearn the volume control of my TV

My Apple TV currently controls the volume on my Toshiba TV. I want Apple TV to stop controlling the Toshiba and start controlling the volume on my new HomePod minis. How do I get Apple TV to “unlearn” the Toshiba. Turning off Volume Control in Remotes and Devices does stop volume control of the Toshiba but seems to prevent volume control of the HomePods.

Yes I was eventually able to find the the place where I could delete the remote settings. The real problem was that the HomePod minis were not setting up properly. A couple of resets to the AppleTV and a dozen (!) attempts to configure the minis and it’s all working properly now. Thanks for your response.
