How does using Pencil help speed up Formula editing?

Is there specific Settings to speed up replacing an cell reference in Formula?

My steps shown below:

·       Click on cell containing Formula with argument referencing another cell

·       Select an argument that reference a cell

·       Delete argument

·       select another cell in another sheet

·       enter to make change effective

I don’t need to draw.

The Apple Pencil is principally a drawing instrument. While a Pencil can aid rapid and accurate placement of the cursor/insertion-point, a Pencil may not necessarily improve the speed at which you can select or edit individual cells. At its most basic, other than improving selection accuracy, as selection tool the Pencil is no different to your finger.

That said, an Apple Pencil - even if infrequently used - adds considerable versatility in how you can interact with the iPad and its many Apps.
