Your Apple ID is the account you use to access Apple services, like the App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, and more.
Transfers are not generally accepted to your Apple Account;
Sometimes Apple gift cards can be used, but not for all purchases, and some purchases require a credit or debit card on file, even if using your Gift card / Apple Account Balance to pay.
