Hi, thanks for reaching out! Try to go to the Settings app on your Apple Watch, then tap Battery > Battery Health. In this area, there should be a feature named 'Optimized Battery Charging'. Disable this feature and see if you are now able to charge your iPhone fully to 100% again. Hope this helps.
My optimisation has been turned off and watch restarted. Optimisation toggled on again and off again and restarted and it still stops at 80%. Very frustrating for a 12 hour shift worker.
I don’t know, but for last week my phone my Apple Watch will not charge pass 78%
I tried to turn optimizing battery off but kept getting a message that it may affect battery life and will not turn the feature off

Go to watch setting, click battery, disable optimizing feature, scroll down click “ turn off.”
