Mail Whoosh
I have done the following: Mail > Mail Menu > Preferences > General > check box for Play sounds for other mail actions, and yet, there is no "whoosh". All this after the recent update to 13.3.1 (a).
Please, now what?

- Are you getting other sounds, for example when you receive mail?
- Is Do Not Disturb on?
- Try starting in Safe Mode and check.

- Go to > System Settings > Sound. Under Output, confirm it shows your Built-in speakers and the volume is not muted.
- Try creating a new test user and check
