I want to group message but not allow people in the group text to see others information. Since the new updates, that option is not available I need to group chat several people at once but I don't want them to see each others information. The new updates have taken that option away and now it's not in settings: messages: group text on/off.

Why can't I remove myself from a group text? Being added to a group seems hard to undo. I want to get out of some conversations and am willing to do whatever it takes . Thanks [Re-Titled by Moderator]

You can only do that if everyone in the group is using iMessage (blue). If anyone is using SMS (green) you will not be able to remove just one person.
