I have a problem with my text messages not being delivered to one contact.
I can receive messages from her. I am also able to ring her. Help please x

Issue now resolved by deleting and reloading the contact. Thank you for your help x
Definitely hasn’t blocked the number. Have resolved the issue by simply deleting the contact and reloading it. One of life’s mysteries. Thank you for your response x

Hi,
Most often this kind of issue can arise because you block the said number from your device. You can check your advanced software button to see if you blocked the contact in question.
You may not have an SMS plan enabled by your carrier for the SIM/eSIM that you use on your device. Apple Inc does not provide SMS services.
Hi, thanks for your reply. The recipient hasn’t got an iPhone but I was able to message her up until the last few days. I also am able to message other contacts who are on non iphones. I’m not very tech savvy so forgive me if I’m being a bit dense.
How do you know the message is not being delivered?
