Connect an AOC 24G2/BK to MacBook Air

I've now repeatedly tried to connect my AOC 24G2/BK 144 Monitor to my MacBook Air (M1 2020) via dongle and HDMI cable. Since it didn't work out from the start, I tried changing some of the settings in the Display tab on my MacBook such as Refresh Rate, Color Setting and Positioning. It does work but unfortunately only for a couple of seconds. Additionally, I don't seem to be in control of the screen going black. It just works for a few moments then the picture turns black. I've tried looking for drivers but unfortunately there are none for MacOS. Oddly, it's not the dongles fault because it works just fine with other monitors.
