Good Notes killing my Battery

Whenever I use Good notes for more than an hour or so, my battery gets drained out and my screen gets heated up. I tried reinstalling the App, but nothing works in this regard. I am using an Ipad Air 5th Gen. Is there any one facing similar issue?

App Notes overheating Ipad and crashing Hi, I saw already a topic about this problem in 2022 for the IOS 15 but now we are one year later and the problem doesn't seem to be fixed. So when I m using the Note App of Apple to take hand written notes with the Apple Pen, my Ipad pro (12,9 inches) (4th generation) overheats (like I never experienced with anything else even with high demanding games). The display of the written notes slows down taking a second to display on the screen making it difficult to take notes. After a while, the app crashes and I loose part of my notes. As I m connected to the Wifi, I thought it would synchronize the latest notes but it didn't. I lost 30 minutes of notes more or less. It didn't happened only once but serveral times. I m taking notes for a class so I m writing them in the same note file which is now getting bigger and bigger. Could it be the problem???

Notes app is lagging since iOS 18 update I have many notes in the app I guess is called Notes in english (I’m from Sweden). And by that I mean a lot… Before the update to iOS 18, however, I had no problems. But after the update the app lags (get stuck and delayed) every time I open it. When I scroll, the image freezes on several occasions. When I open a new or existing note, it takes several seconds before I can write. But typing is what lags the most and makes it impossible for me to use the app. Swiping is out of the question, but just tapping the keys generates crazy lagging. I've never had any issues with any of apple's apps before, so I don't know how to go about relaying this concern. Is there anyone other than me experiencing the same problem? I am very dependent on the Notes app and would prefer not to have to find a replacement. Please help! (Btw I use an iPhone 13.)

Have you looked at Settings > Battery to get an idea if that app is actually using an inordinate amount of battery usage?
