Widgtes on iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (6th generation)

Is it only on the homescreen that you can organize your widgets as you want ?. if I swipe to the right or left, for a new screen, the widgets you add are placed under each other on the left side of the screen. weird.

How do I rearrange widgets in iPad Today View? Hi, I’m using iPadOS version 16.5.1 (c) on an iPad 9th generation. In Today View, all of the widgets are automatically sticking to the left of the screen, no matter how many I add, and I have to keep scrolling down further and further to see them. This leaves a massive blank unoccupied space on the right that should be filling up, and I don’t understand why that’s not happening. Does anyone know how I can get widgets to start occupying the right side and form two or more columns in Today View? Thank you.

I am unable to hide apps by swiping on iPadOS 26 Under iPad os 18, I could have two apps appearing on the screen. Each would take up say half the screen. If I wanted to hide one temporarily, I would swipe one, say to the right. The remaining screen would automatically go full screen. Then to get back the hidden app, I would just swipe from the right side on the screen and the hidden app would appear to the right of the first screen, in the same 1/2 to 1/2 viewing of both apps (or whatever sizing I wanted). If I swiped to the left, I would see a tiny handle that I could hit to bring the app back next to the first app. I cannot seem to do that under os26. I can get them to appear 1/2 to 1/2 or 2/3 to 1/3 but I can not hide the left or the right app by swiping left or right any more. I can minimize it but then I have to manual resize the remaining screen. And bring up the second app from the bottom by double taping. I have it set to window app view in settings.
