Does anyone recommend a display monitor accessory I can connect to my MAC to have two displays to work with?

Usual connections for external displays are either Thunderbolt, or HDMI.
If you’re looking for monitor vendors, Apple, LG and Dell are fairly common choices.
LG black levels on their OLED displays are spectacular.
