System Preferences keeps asking me to update Apple ID in macOS Catalina

Same as previous person; System Preferences keeps wanting me to update Apple ID settings ad infinitum.

It sounds like you may have some corruption in the keychain.

Are you using any system optimizers? These can corrupt those files. Remove any Mackeeper, Advanced Mac Cleaner with Reggie Answorth's AppDelete, and then use Devon Technology Easy Find to locate your keychain files.


Keep in mind, if you forgot some of your passwords, you may need to get them recovered after you delete your keychain plist files.
