When subscribing to DuoLingo free trial I was told I would be notified before the end of the trial and before being charged. Also when considering cancelling the trial 3 days before the end, I was encouraged by the App to continue using the benefits and that I would be notified before being charged. My notifications for the app are on I receive them daily, but haven't been notified about the end of the trial and was thus charged £59.99.
I cancelled the subscription immediately after I was charged and requested a refund from Apple, which got denied, I also tried contacting the app with no success.
I want to request, once again, a refund. Moreover, I don't understand how Apple allows this misleading and malicious practice to go on despite multiple customers reporting the same experience.
