Mail Messages reapear again, immediately after being deleted.
Probably for 90% of the messages.
Changes no settings at all, just apdates tot Montery lately.
What is going on?

The usual fix is to rebuild the affected Mailbox: Rebuild mailboxes in Mail on Mac - Apple Support.
You can rebuild any Mailbox including All Inboxes, Trash, Sent, etc. I recommend rebuilding all of them.
