I have an Intel based iMac with boot camp installed. Can I upgrade to Mac OS Ventura and not lose my boot camp partition and its files? I need to be able to use the programs in Windows.

Yes. Upgrading to Ventura should not affect your Windows partition in any way. It will jus update the macOS partition, which is entirely separate to the Windows one.
