Has anyone done the BootCamp division of the internal drive to install Windows. How does it work? Does it hamper the life of the MacBook?
Background: I wish to install it in order to download Lumion and other software on the Windows division.

Here are the instructions for using Boot Camp Assistant to install Windows:
Boot Camp Assistant User Guide for Mac - Apple Support
Boot Camp is only supported on intel chip Macs. Boot Camp Assistant creates a partition on your Mac drive where Windows is installed. You then can boot your Mac into either Windows or MacOS. Installing Windows using Boot Camp Assistant does not "hamper the life" of the Mac.
