Boot Camp: Does Win11 ISOs install the same as Win10?

I successfully got Windows 10 on my device pretty easily with the 64-bit ISO and Bootcamp, but I was wondering if I could uninstall the current partition (giving the 256GB i allocated to windows back to macos), and then the main thing, could I use a Windows 11 64-bit ISO too?

My device info

Model: 2020 Macbook Pro 13”

CPU: i7-1068NG7

Memory: 32GB

Drive: 512GB

Thanks!

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 26.2

Bear in mind that Windows 11 using Bootcamp is not supported by either Microsoft or Apple. The main difficulty is the Windows requirement for the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) security processor and Secure Boot, neither of which can be provided by the Mac hardware, except by means of a virtual environment (e.g. Parallels). It is just about possible to bypass these security requirements, and you can find out how in other places. Nevertheless, from experience a few years ago, I would not recommend this.

Mr. Whitaker is correct in his assessment. There are some overrides that will be needed. The processors on 2020 Macs have the required security, though Apple has chosen to hide it from other OSes for whatever reason. You'll probably want to use Rufus, which is free, to create a USB stick with the overrides built in. Some hardware, like Bluetooth, might not function after the upgrade due to driver issues, as these drivers aren't built for Win11.
