Podcast Connect: An error has occurred when validating terms of service

I'm trying to access Podcast Connect but every time I try to validate the terms of service I get the error:

An error has occurred. Try again later. (see screenshot 1)

It seems that I have already a more updated versions of tos if the error returned from the API is correct (see screenshot 2)

How can I bypass this step then?

Finally, I managed to call the Apple support that solved this issue.

Support : https://getsupport.apple.com/

It started by chat, then the agent planned a call with a member of their tech team and they called me.

Everything is working fine now, thanks

This boilerplate answer may help:

This has been a problem for some people. You must have a payment method registered in Apple Music/iTunes: make sure your computer is authorised to play purchases (Apple Music or iTunes menu Account>Authorisations>Authorise this Computer). Then try logging in at https://podcastsconnect.apple.com

For help with the process of creating a podcasting account please see Create Apple Podcasts Connect account - Apple Podcasts for Creators

If this fails I would suggest reporting it Podcasts Support: https://podcastsconnect.apple.com/contact-us

If that fails the next step is to contact Apple Support: Support

Don't present this as a podcasting problem - they don't handle those and will refer you to Podcasts Support. Present the problem as being the inability to access Podcasts Support. It's also been suggested that getting them to look at your Apple ID may clear matters: do you have a Developer ID? Someone else found that his didn't work and when he created a normal ID it worked.

Hi Roger,

Thank you for the quick response, I managed to do what you suggested and what the post you shared did.

I still have an issue when trying to accept the tos but a different one (it is not displayed on my screen, I had to copy it from the network tab of my browser dev tools). Here is the error I get now:

{
  "errors" : [ {
    "id" : "1e748e66-38a8-48b5-bc52-6f9b7b515173",
    "status" : "403",
    "code" : "FORBIDDEN_ERROR",
    "title" : "The given operation is not allowed",
    "detail" : "The resource 'termsSignatures' does not allow 'GET_COLLECTION'. Allowed operations are: CREATE"
  } ]
}

Do you have an idea of what we should do?

That's a standard http '403' error which means, as stated in hyour coade, that access is not allowed. For example (and I'm not suggesting it's the case here) if a directory has no index.html file and someone tried to access the directory and not any enclosed files, the error prevents them listing the directory which the owneer may not want.

In this case I have no way of knowing what is going on. I'm afraid you'll have to dig your heels in with Suport.
