Passkeys
My wife and I are on a family share account. I am interested in using passkeys but my wife is not. Do both of us need to use passkeys or can I use them while she continues using passwords? Thank you.

Re: “… Do both of us need to use [Security Keys] …”
Reinforcing Limnos’ reply … No you do not.
Assuming that your meaning of “Family Share Account” means that you each have your own separate and unique AppleIDs … you can each choose your own AppleID 2FA authentication method.
I speak from personal experience; where my spouse and I - in Family sharing and on a common AppleOne plan … each use different 2FA methods.
i.e. One AppleID uses Verification Codes, while the other uses Security Keys.
If you're asking about a security key, read this --> About Security Keys for Apple ID - Apple Support
It seems to be AppleID-specific so it should make no difference to her.
