Seems this is the way Apple Savings is set up to work:

says:

"You can't spend money or make purchases in Savings directly through your Apple Card or Apple Pay."

You can add a linked external bank account, so you can easily transfer money in and out of Savings, if you want. Article below explains how:

That’s for new customers during first 30 days. After the first 30 days, it’s 1 to 3 business days for ACH transfers (excluding weekends, holidays and Federal Reserve holidays).

You can get up to $10,000 transferred to Apple Cash in a day and a total of $20,000 transferred in any 7 day rolling period. Please make sure you Apple Cash account is verified before transferring large funds.

Withdrawing my money has not been easy for me even after I spent hours and calls to get my external bank verified. It took 12 days then and it was declined again this month. I am waiting for a specialist to call me back right now. I think I am over this product...it was not ready for prime time in my experience. For clarity I opened the account in April and it is now June. I still cannot get my money out and still having to call them once a week to resolve the issues to no avail.

No. You can transfer money out of savings to another account any time you like.

My post was just removed because I explained the extremely negative experience I just went through with Apple Savings. I guess the truth must be suppressed.

Wasn’t a rant, just posted about the funds I’ve been trying to withdraw for about a month and what I’ve been going through trying to do so.
