If you returned your iPhone without erasing the data, there is a potential risk that someone else may be able to access your personal information. It's important to take steps to protect your data in such a situation. Here's what you can do:

  1. Change your Apple ID password: Start by changing the password for your Apple ID associated with the iPhone. This will help prevent unauthorized access to your iCloud account, which may contain personal information and data associated with your iPhone.
  2. Enable two-factor authentication: Enable two-factor authentication for your Apple ID. This adds an extra layer of security by requiring a verification code in addition to your password when signing in to your account. This way, even if someone has your password, they won't be able to access your account without the verification code.
  3. Remote wipe if possible: If you had the "Find My" feature enabled on your iPhone and it's still connected to the internet, you may still have the option to remotely wipe your device. Use the Find My iPhone/iCloud website or the Find My app on another Apple device to initiate the erase command. If the device is online, it will receive the command and erase all data.
  4. Monitor your accounts: Keep an eye on your financial and online accounts associated with your iPhone. Look for any suspicious activity and report any unauthorized access immediately to the respective service providers.
  5. Report the situation: If you returned your iPhone to a store or lost it in a public place, consider reporting the incident to the relevant authorities, such as the store management or the local police. This can help in case the device is found and the information on it is misused.

It's always important to take precautions to protect your personal information. If you have concerns or need further assistance, consider reaching out to Apple Support or consulting with a professional for specific guidance based on your situation.
