Turn off the remote part...
Open mail app select Mail>Settings>Privacy disable:
“Block all remote content”
Change settings in Mail on Mac
if no resolve—
Open mail app select Mail>Settings>Privacy disable all the options:
“Protect Mail Activity”
“Hide IP address”
“Block all remote content”
compare your results, reboot if necessary.
Also “Mail Privacy Protection” if no resolve, Mail>Settings>Privacy> uncheck
