I have not changed devices. I'm still on my Macbook Air, Ventura 13.2.1 and still using my iPhone XR, IOS 16.4.1. All of a sudden, I cannot airdrop from Macbook to iPhone. I get an error while trying to pair them. Each device recognizes the other, but my phone gives an error saying "Pairing Unsuccessful. Macbook Air is not supported". I last airdropped probably a week ago with no problem.

Bluetooth pairing is not (and cannot be) used for AirDrop. Bluetooth needs to be on but the devices are not paired. I'm not sure what problem you are encountering but it doesn't have anything to do with Bluetooth pairing.
The "If you can't see the other device in AirDrop" section of Use AirDrop on your Mac - Apple Support may have something that will help.

Well, airdrop wasn't working, so I just went in the direction of bluetooth and got that message. I'd never gotten that message before, and not realizing that the 2 devices didn't need to be paired, I thought the issue was with that. I just tried airdropping again just now and, go figure (and thank goodness), it worked! So I don't know what the issue was, but... Thanks for explaining that to me, anyway!
