why do i have a developer acct active when i never signed up for one. all of my apps the developer apps. and i feel as if i am being remotely monitored or have something mdm linked up because it says that it can't accurately do a saftey check do to remote managed device but nothing shows up when i search under vpns. please help!

Did you buy your iPhone 2nd hand from a company and/or from someone who once worked for a company?
There is still a MDM profile on the iPhone.
If so, contact the company or the seller.
Ask your money back if possible.

If a remote management is installed on the iPhone, try this -> go to Settings -> General -> VPN & Device Management -> MDM Profile and Remove Management.

negative. I purchased the iphone brand new from At&t quite some ago. however i am not very good with coding or technical type stuff. It took me a very long time to figure this out on my own. Apple support gave me the strangest answers like it could have happened automatically if I was running a vpn. it all started with me constantly complaining to Apple about weird things going on with my device. changes in settings, missing certain calls, certain texts. I thought I was hacked. They remotely viewed my device as well as in person and assured me everything was normal, I have since Deleted the original Apple ID changed phone numbers and carriers all under the supervision and guidance of Apple and yet here I am again. Everyday I remove myself from the administrative role of Family sharing and delete the whole acct but yet by noon or 1 pm the email appears welcome to family sharing. I could go on and on with only seriously important emails being found in trash folder and others arriving after the fact date/time wise. etc, etc
thank you, that was good information. My only issue is that I was not using a VPN. I meant that Apple informed me that could be the reason why I had a developer account. I appreciate your time and help with this matter, lastly how do I go about removing this remote management? From what I have read on Apple it says that basically it can reinstall itself after a Factory reset. depending on how it was installed. I certainly didn't knowingly or willingly install it. but how do I proceed from here. Thank You again for your time!
