Text messaging freezing 13 pro
What's up with this new problem of messaging freezing and unresponsive? I have a 13 pro with latest updates. How to fix?? I've tried the usual, restarting, closing all apps.

We understand that you're having issues with unresponsive behaviors with your iPhone. Is the issue isolated to the Messages app or does it include other apps as well?
You mentioned trying the usual actions. To clarify, were you following the recommendations from If your iPhone won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support? If not, try the forced restart to see if that helps correct this issue.
On your iPhone 8 or later, including iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd generation)
1. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
3. Press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
It's also a good idea to go ahead and double check that you have the latest iOS installed. Presently that would be iOS 16.4.1(a). You can confirm the version in Settings > General > About. If you see any updates are available, be sure to back up your iPhone before updating.
