Why can’t I delete iCloud documents and data individually, instead of all or nothing?
How are you trying to do it?
Using any internet browser, an individual file can be deleted by logging into www.icloud.com and going to iCloud Drive, selecting the file and clicking the trash can at the top of the window.
On a Mac, in Finder, use sidebar to go to iCloud Drive and select and delete the file like you would any other file.
If that doesn't help, please reply with more details about what device you are using, how you are accessing iClod Drive files, and what is happening.
If you are referring to an iPhone or iPad Backup to iCloud rather than files that were synced to iCloud Drive, there is no option to view or edit the backup.
