Retrieve Notes

All my Notes are gone. The Recently Deleted folder is gone. I don’t see them on iCloud.com. Is there a way to recover them?

Hello Original_SE,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. We want to help find your missing notes. There could be various factors why this issue might be occurring. Allow us to assist and recommend some steps to further isolate this issue. This would be the best resource to review for missing notes: If you're missing notes on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

The first step suggested in the resource is to install any pending updates that might be available for your iPhone. This will isolate a possible software issue as the root cause for this. Just in case, this resource can guide you through the update process: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

You mentioned that you checked on iCloud for your notes. Were you syncing your notes with iCloud? If you're not sure, you can confirm this by going to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Show All > Notes. If this feature was turned off, this means that you were syncing your notes with a different email provider. To check which email accounts you have linked to your iPhone, go to Settings > Mail > Accounts.

We hope these steps help you. Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Take care.
