No. The warranty will not be honored in India. Though in theory it is possible, experience here in the form of hundreds of posts here from people attempting to get an iPhone that was not sold in India serviced in India prove otherwise. Odds are not only will you not be able to get warranty service on a US phone in India, you won't even be able to get paid service on a US iPhone in India.
