Solution to red burn mark from Apple Watch

I, too, suffered from a red mark where the sensor was underneath the Apple Watch and found what I believe is a great solution. I bought corn cushions for your toes and stuck one under the watch - the hole allows the sensor to continue monitoring as if it’s touching my skin but there is a nice cushion between me and the nickel back. You have to remove the cushion to charge it, and that may ruin the cushion sooner rather than later, but they’re cheap enough for a pack of 10 or 20. Good luck!
