Why iPhone Restore may not Work:
You can only restore your iPhone from a backup that is of the same iOS version that is currently installed. So, you've upgraded to a newer iOS version. You cannot downgrade iOS versions, as of this date.
iCloud backups deleted after 180 days if you stop using the feature.
