Hey! Just installed Apple TV application on my TV, signed in, opened my library and I couldn’t find the first movie of Harry Potter. It says I have to get to the iTunes service and buy it. How can I buy what’s been bought already… I tried almost everything: rebooted tv, uninstalled app and get it again, signed out and in. I have no more logical choices what to do else…
Does the Apple TV app on your TV have a Library and/or Store tab along the top of the screen? If it doesn’t, then this edition of the Apple TV+ app is not supported for buy or rent items. Apple TV+ app vs. Apple TV app on your smart TV or streaming device - Apple Support
For the full Apple TV app, the Library should list the purchased movies for the matching Apple ID account, regardless on which device the purchase was made. Verify that the accounts on iPhone and on the Apple TV app on the TV are the same. (If needed, multiple accounts can be added, to switch between.)
If the issue persist, then contact the Apple Support staff for assistance and to check the purchases on your account.
