I dropped my phone into the water, I immediately took it out. Nothing happened. At first phones volume was down but with these water out of speaker sounds on youtube, i fixed it . But just in case i went to a phone shop he said itll die in 2 or 3 days. theres no chance of fixing it. Is that true? Am i gonna have to buy a new phone? Or are there any chance to getting it fixed?

The person at the ‘phone shop’ is full of beans. iPhones are water resistant but not waterproof. Most of the time, if your phone was in water for only a few minutes it will survive. There have been user reports of dropping their iPhone in a lake or even the ocean and coming out alive and well. There’s no guarantee your iPhone will be okay but the chances are very much in your favor.

I took it to a store, not an apple store tho. he said it was going to die. but there is no problem why would it die.

Could you please explain to us the difference between “waterproof” and “water resistant”. Your answer will give us insight as to your ability to understand what happened to your iPhone.

Apple iPhone 14 is not waterproof. I dropped mine in water, climbing onto a rock. By the time I noticed and got down safely between 6-8 seconds had passed and it’s a gonner. Only three months old. Gutted.
If it will give you peace of mind, sure. But take it to an Apple Store or authorized Apple service provider, not some third party shop.
