Hello dbjenkins45,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Sounds like you need help using Always On with your Apple Watch. We also noticed that you're already coming from the following resource here: Use the Always On feature with your Apple Watch - Apple Support

This resource does list multiple pieces of information that you must follow in order to use the Always On feature. For example, you need to the following:

1.) This feature only works with an Apple Watch Series 5 or later. Apple Watch SE doesn't support this feature.

2.) If you have Low Power Mode enabled, Always On will not work: Use Low Power Mode on your Apple Watch - Apple Support

3.) If you're using Theater Mode, this will also disable Always On: Use Control Center on your Apple Watch - Apple Support

If you're using the correct Apple Watch model and also not using the listed features above, try restarting your Apple Watch to see if that helps out: Restart your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Feel free to keep us posted. Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Take care.
