Exporting activities data from Health to other apps

I exported health data from the iphone Health app as follows:

In the Health app on the iphone, I tapped my profile picture at the top right.
Tap Export all health data
- after a few minutes the export dialogue box opened
- This created an 68MB export.zip file which downloaded to my drive
- Unzipping the export file created an apple_health_export folder

The files are gpx which can be uploaded to Garmin connect or strava.

the problem is that you have to download all of the data in Health over and over. Any suggestion?

We'd like to help with the question you have about exporting Health Data.

When you export the Health data, the unzipped file should be an XML format.

All data is exported, you can't choose a date range.

There are apps that can convert the XML file into other formats.

Exporting from the Health app doesn't give you the option of a date range, so you will have to select the data and dates you need from the XML file.

If you look in the App Store, you will find apps for iPhone like Health Export that export health data in other formats like CSV, that can be imported into a Numbers or Excel spreadsheet. In most of these apps, you can choose the specific health data and date range that you want.
