Why won’t my ipad search engine work?

To start, you'll want to add more specific detail to your post. What is the issue you're experiencing with Search? Is it not coming up when you swipe down from the middle of the screen? Does the Search bar come up but you're unable to type anything in it? Are you able to do a Search but then get no results? Are you getting some sort of error message in it? Etc.

Details like these will help give the community a better idea of what exactly you're seeing so members can provide more relevant responses.
