I used to be able to use my music library for the alarm sound, but since I received the iPhone 14, that option isn’t available anymore. Do I have to set up something in settings to bring that option back?

Hi Beanchop,

We'd love to help you resolve the issue you're having, so you can use music for your Alarms. If you don't have Apple Music, or haven't downloaded any music to your iPhone 14, that may be the issue. Also, if Losless Audio is enabled, that can cause an issue as well. Let's check to see that your music is downloaded to your device by going to the following settings.

  1. Settings
  2. Music
  3. Downloaded Music > Do you see that any music is downloaded to your device there?

If not, you'll want to add music for offline listening by following the steps here: Add music to iPhone and listen offline

Additionally, you can check that the songs have Lossless turned off by going to Settings > Music > Audio Quality and Download in Dolby Atmos also is turned off.

Once music is downloaded to your device, you should be able to set up or tap Edit on a current alarm and choose from the downloaded songs.

Cheers!
