That is exactly what happened. I just answered to an OP having the same issue, but with a “love heart!”

But this OP couldn’t have accidentally turned this Focus on. H/S must’ve created a new Focus, and picked this icon, and then turned on the Focus, probably accidentally from the Control Center. The built-in Focuses’ icons cannot be changed.

razmee209, I saw this post earlier, and read the article because it was listed above the original poster’s post.

I found no reference to scissors there, and have no idea what a scissors icon would mean in that position. Do you?

And KrysBrookins, it would help if you posted a screenshot. My guess is you’re not really seeing scissors.

No I have no clue, thought OP might misquote the icon and it was actually something in the link.

here is a screenshot of why I even searched this today which I am not sure where it came from or why….. But it’s very obvious with the scissors everywhere and I cannot seem to find any answers about it. Thank you if anyone is still checking in on this type of thing…. I am sorry if this has already been discussed- It’s freaking me out and I don’t know if I should be doing something about it since no I’m e has seen or heard of this yet….. Thank you again in advance for taking your time to reply back if anyone does:)

That location in the control center is generally where Focus is, did you enable something in Focus?
