I have a Logitech keyboard and holder for my 6th generation iPad.
After a year of so, it now only works (sometimes) if I take out the battery compartment, dislodge the batteries and then put the batteries back in the compartment. Then, the keyboard may or may not work again once I return to use the iPad. The batteries are new. What may be the problem?

FWIW. Although I generally use Logitech keyboards & mice with my computers, I found that their keyboard option for my iPad Pro (2nd gen) also worked sporadically. Which was disappointing as I have had great success with their other products. Regardless, I ended up going with the Apple Smart keyboard and have yet to regret that decision.
You certainly can try contacting Logitech support to see if they can assist you with this matter.
