How long should a solo loop silicon last?

I bought my solo loop silicon watch band in summer 2022 and it split in the middle already (I can't use my watch anymore) Is this normal? Anybody happened to them a month after the one year warranty expired? I'm very disappointed. I don't do intense exercice, no sun exposure and I dont have animals or child that could have messed around with it.

Which band (maybe non-apple brand) would you recommend for at least 2 years of casual wear.

Apple Watch SE, watchOS 9

How long a solo band, or any of the Apple-provided bands, will last of course will depend on how it is used ... a possible exception would be a defective band.

FWIW. My "go-to" band is the braided solo loop for everyday wear. My current one is going on two years now without any sign of degradation ... and I do give them a "workout."

The "sport loop" with be a similar style to the braided solo loop ... and for dressier occasions, I went with the "milanese loop."
