Uploading Videos to iCloud

When I attempt to upload a video from my PC onto iCloud, I see the message "Only Files in JPEG format can be loaded. Any ideas please?

Is your file in a compatible format for iCloud Photos? About iCloud Photos and My Photo Stream - Apple Support

can't upload mp4 to iCloud I had old videotapes digitized and now I want to put them into my iCloud for storage. iCloud says it will only accept JPEG format. How can I upload these digitzed videos to iCloud. Marian Lacey

How can I upload videos to iCloud? It seems that you can only upload jpg files.
