Forgot my login password, keep typing the wrong password but doesn't prompt password reset option - how can I reset the password? Can't login at the moment.

You can get to the standard login window, can't get to the Reovery volume login window, right?
Have you tried the instructions in If you can't reset your Mac login password?
If that fails it might be time to take it into the neares Apple Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider.
It doesn't prompt the password reset menu. The macOS Recovery didn't working either.
I get the recovery window but doesn't offer an option of changing password; only restore, reinstall macOS, Safari, or disk utility – can't I just change the password?
