Camera roll

So it seems apparent that when my phone is locked I can access my full camera roll via the camera on my Home Screen

this has never been the case

how do I stop this

Can I disable camera on lock screen without affecting use the camera after unlocking iphone? I want to disable camera on lock screen as anyone can use it to take photo without a passcode. But it seems the camera will be completely removed from my home screen, which means I could not use the camera after unlocking the iphone either. Is there a solution to the problem? Thanks.

iPad: removing camera access from lock screen Is there a way to remove the camera from my Lock Screen on the iPad? The lack of control of things like this on Apple devices is astounding to me. There’s hundreds of options yet any time I want to change a simple thing like this I have to search the internet for half an hour just to conclude that there’s no way to do it.

I just tried this multiple times. I could only access any photo if and when the iPhone sensed my Face ID to unlock it.
