Two Apple Mail Problems on my iMac

I have a two problems with Apple Mail on my iMac 12.6.5. So I sent myself a 1-line email with no attachments to simplify the problem: (Subject Line: Can you read my text below? Text Line: Yes or No.) Here my problem. When I get this email in my inbox and click to read it, I can always read the subject line but sometimes the "Yes or No" text in the email fails to appear. It usually appears if this is the first email in my inbox that I click on. It usually fails if this is the second or third email in my inbox I click on. Once the "Yes or No" text disappears it and all email texts are never seen again. Their subject line always appears. If I close and open my email the same problem repeats again. I don't know if this is related to an old problem I've seen described where "Generating content to print..." sometimes fails. That problem happens to me also. I have tried CleanMyMac X and many reboots. Sometimes the problem seems to get fixed but it inevitable comes back. I have a Late 2015 iMac running the up to date macOS Monterey Version 12.6.5. Safari works fine. I do not any problems on my iPhone or iPad. Suggestions welcome.

First, there is no reason to ever install or run any 3rd party "cleaning", "optimizing", "speed-up", anti-virus, VPN or security apps on your Mac.  This documents describe what you need to know and do in order to protect your Mac: Effective defenses against malware and other threats - Apple Community and Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support.

There are no known viruses, i.e. self propagating, for Macs.  There are, however, adware and malware which require the user to install although unwittingly most of the time thru sneaky links, etc.

Anti Virus developers try to group all types as viruses into their ad campaigns of fear.  They do a poor job of the detecting and isolating the adware and malware.  Since there are no viruses these apps use up a lot of system resources searching for what is non-existent and adversely affect system and app performance.

There is one app, Malwarebytes, which was developed by a long time contributor to these forums and a highly respected member of the computer security community, that is designed solely to seek out adware and known malware and remove it.  The free version is more than adequate for most users.

CleanMyMac is one of the worst offenders. It is considered to be akin to malware by most of the experienced contributors to these forums. Uninstall it according to the deveoper's instructions. Do not just delete the app.

Do you have any other "cleaning", "optimizing", "speed-up", anti-virus or VPN apps on your Mac? If so uninstall them also.

I have downloaded the two documents you have recommended. I have no other "cleaning", "optimizing", "speed-up", anti-virus or VPN apps on my iMac. On the other hand you suggested I download a different app. I am not about to do that on your say so because you really didn't relate to the problem I am experiencing. I will first do my due diligence to check out your suggestion that downloading Malwarebytes could help. So I don't consider your answer as being very helpful at this time.
