Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!
So Apple says hold new remote 3 or 4 inches, or closer, to Apple TV in order to pair it. What? Guess I should move the Apple TV right over to my easy chair, maybe put a little stand there for it right next to where I usually sit. But wait--what's the point of a TV remote, anyway? I thought, you have a remote so you DON'T HAVE TO BE THAT CLOSE TO THE TV. Thanks a ton, Apple!
you only have to pair it once, after that it should work from a greater distance
